في خضم الانتفاضة الثانية، يتم التحفظ على مالك أسيرا في غرفته من قبل عائلته من أجل الدراسة. للهرب من هذا الاضطهاد يجد مالك راحته في ممارسة عادتين بسيطتين: الاستماع إلى الراديو ومراقبة جارته الجميلة سرا.

In the midst of the Second Intifada; Malik is kept captive in his room by his family in order to study. To escape this oppression he finds comfort in two simple habits: listening to the radio and secretly observing his beautiful neighbor.
